monday club
-
Monday Club is the Brain child of Zak Foster and his brother Luke. Partners of the successful building firm foster and foster in south London and with years of experience within the industry. The two brothers felt the industry lacked a brand that represented the trades and their culture and sort to fill that gap with ‘Monday Club’.
The phrase ‘Monday Club’ refers to all those trades that start the week off with the best of intentions; but find for whatever reason find Monday is against them. A burst pipe, deliveries delayed or even a flat tire; for those in the trades and in the know - that’s ‘Monday Club’.

When Zak and his bro approached me they had a strong idea and sense of direction for their brand, but needed help building its identity. Citing outfitters like deus ex machine nd Provision and Co, they wanted to put their own twist on the indie grunge aesthetics these companies have so successfully built for themselves.
Monday Club is to be what deus is to motorcycle and surfing culture for the trades.
the initial brief was to create a multi purpose logo that could be used across multiple applications; this at the drafting stage turned into two logos as they couldn’t bring themselves to drop either option.
